Mounir Ajam is an entrepreneur, author, consultant, speaker, and an executive adviser.  He is an executive with more than 25 years of global professional experience, mostly in project management roles in the Engineering, Construction, and Process Industries (oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities). Mounir has worked around the globe including the United States, United Kingdom, South East Asia, and since 2001 in West Asia.

Mounir is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of SUKAD, a professional project management solutions provider with offices in Dubai, U.A.E. and Amioun, Al-Koura, Lebanon.

In addition to his professional experience, Mounir has held numerous volunteer leadership roles. These include: serving on the 2008 PMI® EMEA Congress Project Action Team and the PMI REP global Advisory Group (2005 to 2007); International Correspondent for PMForum and PMWorldToday. Mounir is a co-founder and the first chairman of the Board for the Global Project and Process Management Association (GPPMA), which is based in Dubai, U.A.E.

Mounir obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification in 1998. He is a graduate from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Leadership Institute Masters Class (2007). Mounir has a Master Degree in Engineering & Construction Management from University of California Berkeley, one of the top ranked university in the world.
